Our California Adventure Part 2: La Jolla and the seals

So, after 3 days at Disney, we left Tuesday morning and started heading down to San Diego, but with a stop in La Jolla first.  Ashley and I loved just driving down the freeway and looking at all the scenery.  When we got to La Jolla, we drove around the town for a bit then parked and walked around the town and found a good place to eat lunch.  After lunch we walked down to see if we could get a glimpse of any seals.  Oh my gosh.  We saw TONS of seals!  They were sunning, swimming, talking, and playing!  It was so much fun to see so many!  We were even able to go on the rocks they were on and get a REALLY close view.  It was soooo amazing!  Then we saw people on a little beach area, so Ashley and I decided to take the kids down there and just let them wade in the water.....I think we all knew the wading wouldn't last long....and we were right!  Oh well!  The kids had so much fun playing in the water and getting totally soaked!  We only regretted our decision afterwards, when they had to walk a good distance back to the car in totally wet clothes :)  Our day in La Jolla was so much fun!  We headed down to our final destination....San Diego for LEGOLAND and the San Diego Zoo!

  1. I love La Jolla! My aunt used to live there. The seals are really interesting. We saw whales, too. The weather is so perfect there! The kids all look so happy (and sweet).

    Wish I was there! 😎
