On January 25, 2017, Pearce turned 5 years old. I look at Pearce and I still see my baby boy in him. My baby boy that I prayed so hard for. My baby boy that made my dreams come true. My baby boy that made the years of heartache worth it. This birthday hit me hard because the baby days have long passed, the toddler years are over, and soon the Preschool stage will end. I just want time to slow down! Although it does make me sad to think back over the years, there is no denying that Pearce is at such a fun stage right now. I love watching him learn and discover new things DAILY! The best part is that he is soooo loving. He still loves to be held and rocked and kissed and loved on. Yes, he's probably too big for me to still hold and carry, but as long as I can still pick him up and hold him and as long as he lets me, I'm going to because I can't stand to think of the day I put him down never to pick him up again.
