Pearce, what have you been up to lately??

Pearce LOVES his Baby Einstein activity jumper!  I put him in it a month ago and he did not want anything to do with it.  I propped him up with blankets, but he still did not like it.  I remember thinking it was going to take a LONG time for him to even start to enjoy it because his feet were soooo far from touching the ground.  Well, last night I tried it again and I was shocked at how close his feet are to the ground!  I did put a blanket around him to help him stabilize himself, but other than that, he could bounce and loved playing with the toys!  He stayed in it for close to 30 minutes just exploring the toys and bouncing and drooling and squealing!

Look at those fat legs!  Yes, they are as yummy as they look!

"Mommy, this is pretty neat!"

See the blanket wrapped around him?

"Seriously??  You have that thing out AGAIN??"

Great pic of his cowlick!!  No matter how I brush his hair, that piece always sticks up in the back!

"Annnnd, I'm done.  Get me outta here."

My class had their end of the year party today.  Pearce and I went and it was so much fun!  The kids were so happy to see us and of course, I was happy to see them!  It was at a parent's house and she had the best backyard for the party!  They had all kinds of water activities for the kids to do.

This is before the boys got crazy on this thing.  Eventually, they started running from the back of the yard and jumped onto the slide and slid OVER the pool at the bottom.  I hate any type of water slide or slip n' slide because I think they are so dangerous when kids act silly on them....BUT.....I wasn't in charge and I just prayed no one would get hurt.  Thankfully everyone left without any injuries :)

I know I am biased, but I think I have the cutest baby boy in the WORLD!!!  This is what he wore to the party and I just could not bring myself to delete any of these pictures...so I'm adding them all!  It's a little terry cloth jumper that my mom got him from Gymboree.  Of course, she had to get him the matching hat, too!!
"Mommy, look how I put my little hands together."  Pearce loves to "pray!"

"Look at me with my hat on!"  I mean seriously....could you be any cuter?!

"Oh mommy, look how I put my fat hand on my fat knee."

"Here is a sweet smile for you."

This is what he does constantly now....suck and chew on his fingers and hands.  What a drooling mess!

"I know I'm cute!"

Caraway Baby Day

Last week, I went to my school for Caraway Baby Day.  There are 5 other teachers that have babies age 1  and younger, so we wanted to get them all together.  Our registrar, Nancy, just became a grandmother and he's one day older than Pearce.  It was fun to see the babies interact with each other.  Shelly made an announcement and said if anyone needed a baby fix, come on down to the library!  Enjoy the ridiculous amount of pics that were taken...and this is just half of them  :)
