Get Well Soon, GG!

We are hoping our GG feels better soon.  She had knee replacement surgery yesterday.  Hopefully each day she will feel better and be ready to play with Pearce!  She came to visit us during Valentine's Day weekend and I'm just now getting the pics on the blog....oops!  Pearce was really showing off and acting so silly for GG!  He would sit up and then slowly fall over.  He thought it was so funny!  Then he started getting up on all fours!  Of course, GG brought Pearce a Valentine surprise.  He loved his cookie...and sharing it with GG :)  He also loved rubbing the crumbs in his hair which got him a trip to the bath tub! It was such a pretty weekend so we went outside and took some pictures.  That shirt was Nathan's from 5 years ago!  Thanks Ash!  GG, we hope these pictures will bring a smile to your face.  We love you!!

I love this face Pearce makes!  He really has the funniest expressions, but this one is my favorite!

Fun at the Park!

Pearce LOVES to go to the park.  Last week we went to the Elizabeth Milburn Park and it was so fun!  There's a great playscape that he can play on and several baby swings.  It was a perfect day.  I brought our lunch for us and he just played and crawled all over the place.  He did not throw a fit when we left...probably because he was so exhausted!

Sweetest face in the world!

"Look Mommy, leaves...."

"Mmmm....yummy leaves!"

Mimi's visit

Since Pops is away in Africa, Mimi came for a little visit!  We always love it when Mimi comes!  She got here Thursday evening and then Friday was my big day off!  Mimi stayed with Pearce while I went to my bible study and then to a movie and then I did a little shopping.  It was so nice having a day to myself and something tells me that Mimi did not mind at all to have her boy all to herself!  Saturday we went out to lunch and then to the park to play a little.  Pearce had so much fun swinging and crawling all over.  I even went on the slides with him and he loved it!  When it was time to go, I picked Pearce up and we headed to the car.  When I opened the door, he looked back at the park, then looked at the car, and as soon as I started to put him in his carseat, he threw the BIGGEST fit!  I mean, he was screaming and kicking and crying the WHOLE. WAY. HOME.  That was his first, "I don't wanna leave the park" fit.  Poor little guy.  It makes me a little nervous to go again :)  While Mimi was here, we even got to Face Time with Pops in Africa!  It was pretty neat.  Pearce had fun "talking" to Pops.  Mimi, we had so much fun playing with you!  We love you!!
