Christmas 2013

We had a wonderful, crazy, busy Christmas this year!  Pearce was definitely spoiled by all!  Pearce and I went to Dallas a day early and played with Mama and Papa, Auntie Ashy, Nay Nay, and Charlotte.  He loved helping to make cookies with Mama!  Then we drove to Little Rock to begin our Christmas celebration!  We met GG at the All Aboard Restaurant which Pearce loved.  Little trains would run overhead and bring your food to you....definitely a great restaurant to keep him in his seat!  Chris met us in Little Rock on the 23rd.  On Christmas Eve, Chris cooked us an AMAZING dinner then Pearce got to open his presents from his grandparents.  He got a doctor set, an art desk, a new trike, Hug Me Elmo, a driving toy, a farm set, clothes...including a Razorback jacket and a hat that he would not take off, a remote control car, and TONS of love!!!  On Christmas morning, he slept in until almost 9 and then got to come downstairs to see what all Santa brought him.  Santa left all of his gifts in a neat toy sack and had lots of airplanes all lined up for this little boy to enjoy.  Santa brought him the vacuum had had been asking for, a tool set, blocks, and lots of goodies in his stocking.  It was so much fun seeing him open his presents and be excited about all of them.  This Christmas season was so much fun with Pearce.  I already can't wait until next year!  On the 26th, we went to Dallas for the weekend to continue our celebrations.  We celebrated Chris's birthday with a dinner out with Ashley and Wayne while Mama and Papa kept the kids.  In Dallas, Pearce got a lawn mower from Mama and Papa, which he absolutely loves, and a train set which he absolutely loves, too!  I don't think he got a single toy that he does not have fun playing with.  Auntie Ashy took care of Pearce while Mama and I took Nathan and Charlotte to see Frozen....that was really fun especially since the movie was really cute!  Thank you to everyone for making Pearce's second Christmas so special!!  When we got back to Austin, Pearce and I surprised Daddy by making him a birthday cake...his favorite...Strawberry cake with buttercream frosting.  Pearce loved "helping" me make it and had a great time putting the candles in, sprinkling the sprinkles on top, and helping Daddy blow out the candles.  We even gave him some practice for his upcoming birthday by putting a candle in his piece of cake and letting him blow it out....over and over and over and over again :)
