Playing outside

The weather has really been nice lately.  There is nothing Pearce loves more than playing outside....well, maybe Toy Story, but playing outside is a very close second :)  Pearce got really sick last week and we had to spend several days inside with him not wanting to do anything except watch Toy Story.  Finally, he felt better and the weather was great, so we've been outside a lot lately!  We've played with Sissy, taken Otis for a walk, eaten popsicles, "painted" the fence, and played with our buddy Ridley at his grandparent's house!

My Valentine

Pearce got to enjoy lots of fun Valentine activities this past week.  It started with a little Valentine party with some of our friends.  We met at Aubrey's house and she had this cute little backdrop set up to take pics.  We also had some yummy snacks and she even got all the kids gigantic heart suckers, which Pearce loved!  We exchanged valentines and just had fun playing together.  Pearce also got to have a Valentine party at school on Wednesday.  He brought juice boxes for his class and also got to exchange valentines with his little friends.  On Valentine's Day, Pearce wore his "Dr. Love" t-shirt and I took him to get an ice cream cone.  He is soooo good at eating an ice cream cone :)  He got some army guys, a Toy Story book, stickers, and a bag of "m's" for his Valentine gift from us.  Pearce also got a Buzz Lightyear valentine card and M & M's from Papa and Mama and GG also sent him a Toy Story valentine and some money!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Kobe Steakhouse with GG

After Pearce's birthday, GG stayed with us a couple of extra days.  We had a great time with her!  She has always wanted to take Pearce to one of those places where they cook on the table, so we went!  Pearce loved every second!  Our cook was really great and kept giving Pearce little bites of what he was cooking.  Pearce loved the fried rice and broccoli....he could not get enough of either one.  Our cook even made Pearce a little "cake" of fried rice and put a candle in it :)  Oh, he also loved edamame!  Pearce kept saying "fire, more fire!"  Then, he got birthday cake at the end of dinner with a candle and he loved blowing out the candle.  It was such a fun night!
