This morning I took Pearce for his 9 month well-check. He was his usual happy, babbling self...until he got his flu shot booster :( Dr. Sperling said he is doing great! He has reached all of his milestones, so I was happy to hear that! Next time we go back is for his 1 year well-check...wow!
9 month stats:
Weight: 21 lbs, 2 oz (75th percentile)
Height: 28.5 inches (75th percentile)
Head Circumference: 45.8 cm (73rd percentile)
Perfectly proportionate!
This is our doctor. She is the SWEETEST! I really think she's about my age, and maybe younger, but I've never asked. She said we can start finger foods now. I'll still do the purees, but start introducing some finger foods. We'll also start eggs and meats! I need to brush his two teeth twice a day...I have got to remember this! She said the top gums are swollen, so he might get those in soon! We ended the visit with his flu shot booster. Poor little guy cried so hard and lost his breath....luckily I had a bottle ready and as soon as he got that, he was happy.
Pearce, you are growing up so fast! I know I keep saying that, but it's so true. Especially since I don't get to see you every day, I can see the changes from week to week. I'm not sure I like having you change so quickly! :)
