Early Christmas with GG, Pops, and Mimi!

This past weekend, the Little Rock grandparents came to Austin for an early Christmas celebration.  We had so much fun!  Pearce went to school on Thursday and when I put him down for his nap, I told him that when he woke up, Pops and Mimi and GG would be here.  When Pearce woke up, he was so excited!  He just stood on the windowsill waiting for everyone to show up.  On Thursday, we just ordered Chinese food and had fun just playing and visiting.  Pearce really put on a show that night!  He LOVED wrestling with Pops and throwing pillows on him :)  That night, Pearce asked GG to read to him and rock him.  That was a nice break for me!  On Friday, Pops and Mimi came back over in the morning and we all went to the mall play area to play and ride the train since it was raining.  Then we ate lunch at Mighty Fine...yum!!  On Saturday, Chris started preparing our "Christmas" meal and we just hung out at home and played.  Pearce took a good nap and then it was time for his presents!  Oh my goodness, Pearce hit the jackpot with his gifts from his grandparents.  He got lots of fun toys which he loved and several cute outfits, which I loved!  Pearce played and played.  After I put him to bed for the night, we ate our gourmet dinner that Chris made.  It was sooooo good!  Then we all got to open our presents.  Chris and I are really excited because we got money to go towards new couches for us.  We are very much in need of new couches!  I also got some cute rain boots that I can't wait to wear....and have Pearce wear his, of course!  We had such a fun time with our family.  I love weekends like this because we didn't have a lot planned and just really enjoyed being together and loving on Pearce.  Pearce was sad when everyone left.  He is one lucky little guy!!  Thank you all for coming and celebrating Christmas with us.  We love you!!!!

GG brought lots of yummy treats, of course!

  1. Spoiled???? Grandbabies can't be spoiled, as everyone knows! Pearce, you are so sweet and so much fun. It was a wonderful 2 days. We crammed so much in! Wish it could have been longer. I love you so-o-o much! GG
