Bethany Thanksgiving Feast 2015

Pearce had his Thanksgiving Feast at school yesterday and I was sooooo looking forward to it!  Daddy was able to come, too, so Pearce was soooo excited about that!  Pearce has been telling us all about being an Indian and that his name was Sitting Bull.  The 3 year olds get to be Indians for the feast and the 4 year olds get to be pilgrims.  Pearce painted his own headband and vest and made a cute macaroni necklace!  We got there early to get a good seat in the chapel.  We wanted to be able to see him walking down with his class.  When his class started walking down, I saw that he was the "Engineer" or the leader and got to hold Ms. Carolyn's hand.  Pearce was smiling so big and just waving to us.  Then when his class sat in the pew, he kept turning around and his little eyes were peeking above the pew and he kept waving and blowing us kisses!  After they all sang Thanksgiving songs, we followed the kids to the gym for our feast.  Pearce's class was sitting on a blanket and they all got their plates of food.  Pearce at his sugar cookie, pumpkin bread, and "blessing mix" which was chex mix.  He would not eat his turkey or cheese cubes...naughty boy!  Chris and I had so much fun sitting with Pearce and talking to him about school and his friends and also visiting with Ms. Carolyn and the other parents.  When the feast was over, Pearce went back to his room and then I picked him up right after that....and then we went out to eat for lunch :)

"Sitting Bull"

I LOVE this picture of Pearce and Daddy!!!!!  I also think it's hilarious that Pearce's t-shirt is tucked into his pants....Ms Carolyn must have done that after Pearce went potty :)

And I just love Pearce's new jacket :)
