Halloween Prep

Oh how we love Halloween!  I've always loved Halloween, but now that I have Pearce, each year just gets more and more fun!  We love going to different stores and looking at their Halloween supplies and always get a few new things each year.  Our favorite is the spooky purple light we got to put on our door!  We love driving around and finding houses decorated for Halloween.  Our first order of business was getting Pearce's costume.  For a while he wanted to be a Ghostbuster, then he started saying he wanted to be someone from Star Wars.  After school one day, I took Pearce to the Disney Store and let him look at all the costumes.....super heroes and Star Wars.  He immediately saw Darth Vader and that was it for him :)  I tried to get him to look at the other costumes, too, but nope, his mind was made up.  Oh my gosh, he looks so cute in his costume!!!!  He was so excited to show Daddy when he got home from work!  Then on Oct 1st, Pearce helped me get our Halloween decorations down from the attic and we got to work on our front yard.  We really had fun decorating outside.  I got a few items on sale last year after Halloween that I had forgotten about, so it was fun to discover those!  Pearce really loves how our house is decorated and that makes me feel so good!!!  My calendar is filled with all kinds of Fall and Halloween fun this October....LOVE this time of year!!!
