Today, we went to Lucy's 1st birthday party. The weather was absolutely perfect! Lucy's mom, Cari, did such a great job planning the party. She has a fabulous backyard, so everyone brought blankets and we all had fun being outside, watching the babies play! It was so fun seeing a lot of the babies and mommies from our play group.

Here is the birthday girl, Lucy. She has the most scrumptious thighs ever! Her mommy made her headband and shirt!

ReplyDeleteLittle Man, what a meltdown over a hat!!! It's just like the one Mommy puts on you on the 25th of every month. Well, in spite of that, you are just so darn cute all dressed up in your Fall clothes! And, Mommy is pretty cute, too.
ReplyDeleteI don't think you're going to have your birthday party outdoors in late January. Maybe the Mall playground. I can't believe it's just a little over 2 months away!
Lucy's grandparents remind me of the fact that only a grandparent will do some silly things for their precious grandchildren! (I sort of remember some of those moments myself.) I think they were perfect for the party! Lucy's a lucky little girl.
