Charlotte's 2nd Birthday

Pearce and I went to Dallas last Monday for Charlotte's 2nd birthday party on Wednesday.  When we got to Dallas, we stopped at Grandma's for a visit.  Pearce was mesmerized by Grandma!  She was just talking and Pearce was just smiling and kicking away!  It was the cutest thing ever!

Then we headed over to Mama and Papa's house.  Papa was so happy to see Pearce!  We played, went on a golf cart ride, fed the fish, and ate a yummy chicken finger dinner!

Next, we headed back to Auntie Ashy's.  We started to get everything together for Charlotte's birthday party.  Nathan and Charlotte just LOVE Pearce.  It is so fun to see them with Pearce.  At one point Nathan even said, "Mommy, you said you were going to share Pearce."  He wasn't happy that Ashley wanted to hold him!

Buddies

It's party day!!!  Charlotte's theme for the party was puppies.  She loves babies, Elmo, and puppies!  Doesn't she look so cute?!  Ashley used dog bowls to serve the food in, she made "Puppy Chow" mix, and the kids got to make dog tag necklaces and puppy ears to wear.  It was so cute!!  Mama made her dress.  She was a little shy when the party started, but warmed up and had so much fun with her little friends!

Charlotte is so attached to Mama.  She didn't leave Mama's side for the first part of the party, but then got into it!

These next pictures are so funny!  Nathan had a blast at the party.  He was running around, having so much fun!  After the kids left and it was just our family, we went outside to swing.  I was looking through some of my pictures while Nathan was swinging and then I saw that he had fallen asleep!

Another visit from Mama!

 Mama came for a visit and I was so excited to see her!  Whenever mom comes, it's so fun because #1: I love to see her love on my baby!  #2: She pretty much takes care of him from the moment he wakes up to the moment he goes to sleep and I get to take a nice long shower, put on makeup, do household chores...all the things I normally don't get to do or it takes me forever to do!  #3:  It doesn't matter if we are out shopping or just sitting on the couch watching t.v.....we just love being together!  We spent the week going out to lunch, shopping, loving on Pearce, going to Fredericksburg, loving on Pearce, catching up on tv shows, and loving on Pearce some more!  Here are a few pics from our week together:

I went to my mom's group on Tuesday and we took a group picture.  One of the girls said my hair looked really pretty and did I do something different.  I told her that my mom was here and I actually got to fix it!  Ha!  I just love this group of girls.

Then it was out to lunch!  Pearce is such a good little lunch buddy!

I think he looks adorable in this outfit!  Mom and I kept talking about how happy Pearce is and how easy he is.  I feel so lucky!!

Thursday, we took a day trip to Fredericksburg.  We had so much fun strolling around !

"Mommy, I am hot, I am tired, I am hungry...but I am not crying because I am a good little boy."

Pearce is so smart....he can already feed himself :)

Now, on to Dallas for Charlotte's birthday party!  Pearce has been one busy baby the past few weeks, but we love it!  Mama, thank you for coming to visit us and for all of your help.  We love you so much and can't wait to see you again!
